Hi, I'm Koral Pleakis — named after Coral from Finding Nemo.

I've been a creative person for as long as I can remember. I fell in love with graphic design when I realized it was behind everything people interact with — the ads I loved as a kid, the packaging, the logos. I just never knew it had a name.

I hold a Bachelor of Design from PennWest Edinboro and two years of hands-on experience at Zippo Manufacturing, where I created custom artwork for everything from product launches to U.S. Marines commissions.

Currently available for freelance work and open to full-time opportunities.

Graphic Designer

Zippo Manufacturing Company — Bradford, PA

Designed custom artwork for Zippo lighters, including specialized work for clients such as the U.S. Marines. Developed original concepts for weekly design themes and product launches, working directly from client briefs and verbal descriptions to deliver production-ready artwork.

2024

Design & Administrative Assistant

PennWest Edinboro Art Department — Edinboro, PA

Created design materials and visual content for departmental marketing and events. Conducted tours for prospective students and provided administrative support. Recommended for the position by Design faculty based on academic performance.

2022 – 2026

Bachelor of Design

PennWest Edinboro — Edinboro, PA  ·  GPA: 3.29

Four-year degree in Graphic Design spanning brand identity, typography, layout, motion, and concept development. Served as class representative for NASAD regarding first-year Art major curriculum.
