The UNI cover design draws inspiration from the complementary tertiary hues of red-violet and yellow-green. The grid-based, open layout of the cover imagery mirrors the overall publication structure. To enhance visual appeal, a brushstroke effect was strategically applied to certain image borders.

The article's body copy is set in Superclarendon font, designed by Ray Larabie, while quotes and headings utilize Gill Sans font by Eric Gill. The title and back cover employ Aileron by Sora Sagano and Calibri fonts by Lucas de Groot, to achieve a balanced aesthetic, as the sole serif font is reserved for the body copy, while all other elements feature sans-serif fonts.
